My 6 year old daughter lost her first tooth on Sunday. She had a loose tooth and has been working on loosening it for two weeks. 

I suggested that she write a note to the Tooth Fairy. After all, this was her first tooth. The Tooth Fairy doesn't know who she is or what she would like. I also recommended that she tell the Tooth Fairy that it would be okay to surprise her in case the Tooth Fairy didn't have any puffy balls, or Littlest Pet Shops on a Sunday evening.

Monday morning I went in to wake my daughter up. She was looking at her gift. "Mom! The Tooth Fairy went to Big Lots!" (Completely forgot that my daughter can read.) Boy, that Tooth Fairy is so practical, getting items on clearance and then saving them in her garage.
