Along with the swimming, the sun, and the bug bites, we have been doing a lot of summer reading! Our local public library has a summer reading program for the kids that allows them to win small prizes while logging their reading. They also have the chance to win a big prize at the end of the summer. My daughter has picked out a big fancy Ice Cream Truck (with about 200 accessories to be left around the house for me to step on). My son has picked out a Paw Patrol set. 

My daughter can read on her own for the most part, but my son (4.5) still likes to snuggle and be read to. He is definitely my Reading Best Buddy.
